Kids First Food Bank
The Kids First Food Bank serves over 900 individuals weekly in the Windsor area. It has no geographic boundaries to the clients served.
The Kids First Food Bank is a free food bank for those in need who meet eligibility criteria. Food allocation is standard based on family size. The items available are based on donations and are not guarantees.
To Access Food Bank:
Kids First Food Bank is located at 900 Howard Ave facing Niagara St. To register for food bank you must bring photo I.D. for adults and I.D. for anyone else living in the home, proof of address, proof of income. You can access the food bank once every 30 days and must bring your I.D. every time you access as well as your own bags.
Food Bank Hours:
Monday: 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Friday: 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Closed on all holidays.
To Donate to Food Bank:
Food donations can be dropped off to the agency Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between office hours 8:30am – 4:30pm (excluding 12pm – 1pm as staff breaks for lunch).
Clothing, houseware and other items can be donated as long as hey are in brand-new condition.

Kids First Health & Fitness
We offer a fitness class for everyone in the family.
We believe in the importance of adding a physical fitness component to the nutritional goals of our programs. We also believe that everybody should have access to fun, family fitness programs for free. Come check out one of the 13 fitness classes our personal trainers have developed. There’s something for everyone in the family.

Kids First Day Camps
Kids enjoy a day filled with activities, crafts and fun. Lunch is provided.
The Kids First Day Camps are pop-up day camps to cover strike days, PA days and March Break all free of cost. The camp is open to children ages 6-12 from the hours of 9am-4pm. Day camps include activities, fitness, crafts, games and lunch.

Kids First Christmas Sponsorship
Donors are generous enough to help us sponsor families in need at our tenant homes.
Our tenants are incredible and this is our way of showing them kindness during the holiday season. We provide sponsors with families in need and their wish lists for the holiday season. The families are matched anonymously via their lists to the donors and the donors shop to give them the holiday of their dreams.

Kids First Christmas Party
This is a much anticipated annual event put on for our tenants and their families.
Our tenants are important to us. Every year we hosts a Christmas party for our tenants and their families, ensuring every child receives a gift at Christmas. Guests enjoy a fully decorated hall with Santa, a meal, entertainment and door prizes with a room full of good company.
This program is only possible through the generosity of our donors. We are always in need of door prizes, children’s gifts, in-kind donations of food and entertainment.
