Holiday Food Basket Program
Our Holiday Food Basket Program is designed to ensure that every family in our community can enjoy a festive meal during the holiday season.
Each basket is carefully curated with all the essential ingredients needed for a complete holiday dinner, including fresh produce, proteins, grains, and a variety of seasonal treats. Families receive everything from savory main dishes to sweet desserts, allowing them to prepare a delicious meal together and create cherished memories around the dining table.
Adopt-A-Family Program
The Adopt-A-Family program offers a heartfelt opportunity for members of the Windsor-Essex community to make a meaningful impact during the holiday season by sponsoring families in need.
Through our WFHCP website, sponsors can easily apply and select the size of the family they wish to support. Once matched, they receive a personalized wish list filled with the specific needs and desires of the family or individual, allowing them to choose thoughtful gifts that truly resonate. The joy of wrapping these gifts and delivering them to our agency is an incredibly rewarding experience, knowing that their generosity will bring smiles and warmth to those who may otherwise go without. Later, the families come to pick up their surprises, creating a moment of connection that reinforces the spirit of community and compassion during the holidays.
Kids First Holiday Party
The Kids First Holiday Party is a magical VIP movie theater event designed to bring joy and excitement to our tenants and clients.
Families are treated to a red-carpet experience as they enjoy a private screening of the latest blockbuster film. To ensure everyone can join in on the fun, transportation to the theater is provided from the agency, making it easy for families to attend. Each guest receives complimentary popcorn and pop, enhancing the movie experience, while Santa Claus makes a special appearance, bringing treats and delighting the children. This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to create lasting memories together during the holiday season!
